These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vancouver Signage Shop website and our free matching service. By using the website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Who we are
Vancouver Signage Shop is a signage broker. We connect businesses in Metro Vancouver with independent, vetted local sign shops. We do not design, fabricate, install, repair or warrant signs ourselves. Our role is limited to matching your request with local sign shops that may be able to quote and complete your project.
The matching service
When you submit a request, we may share your project details with one or more independent local sign shops so they can prepare a quote and contact you. Our matching service is free to you and there is no obligation to hire any shop we introduce. Any quote, contract, price, timeline, warranty and workmanship is agreed directly between you and the sign shop you choose. We are not a party to that agreement.
No responsibility for the work
Because we do not perform signage work, we are not responsible for the quality, pricing, timing, permitting, safety, legality or outcome of any sign shop’s work. Any dispute about a quote, a deposit, a contract or completed work is between you and that sign shop. We do our best to match you with reputable local shops, but we do not guarantee any shop’s performance, availability, licensing status or results.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate project information, to use the website lawfully, and not to misuse it or attempt to disrupt it. You are responsible for verifying a sign shop’s credentials, insurance, contract terms and permit handling before you hire them, and for ensuring your signage complies with the applicable municipal sign bylaw.
Intellectual property
The website content, layout and branding are owned by Vancouver Signage Shop or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for normal viewing of the website.
No warranties
The website and matching service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the website, the information on it, or any sign shop we introduce, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vancouver Signage Shop is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or the matching service, or from any dealings between you and a sign shop. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Third-party links
The website may link to sign shops and other third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, services or practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page and applies to your use of the website going forward.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
